Klarity Blue™ is the strongest thermoplastic, and is ideal for high-precision applications. It also has the least amount of shrinkage. Klarity blue masks are the most rigid of any mask, with an extremely high resilience once molded and cooled. Klarity Blue™ also sets up quickly, making this ideal for patients who need limited immobilization time, and the blue material drapes gently for smooth, highly accurate mask making.
The Klarity SRS Adaptor is a simple attachment that fits on top of your existing S-type baseplate. The SRS Adaptor clicks into standard S-type mask holes of the baseplate just like a mask.
With the Adaptor in place, both bottom and top Klarity SRS masks can be easily and securely attached. Mask height can be adjusted between 0-4mm at each pin location using the Simple Shim System™, included with Klarity SRS Masks.
SRS Adaptor is ideal for clinics that want high precision SRS treatment but without the price tag and complexity of a complete baseplate system. Klarity AccuCushions™ are an indexing tool that provides secure, personalized head and neck support for patients. These cushions are made from low-density thermoplastic-based materials that become soft and pliable when heated in an oven or water bath. After heating, Klarity AccuCushions™ offer warm and comforting support that has a calming effect on most patients. Once cool, Klarity AccuCushions™ become firm and rigid, ensuring excellent reproducibility and precise placement for highly accurate treatment. Klarity AccuCushions™ can be used with Silverman headrests (or without headrest with a Neck Insert), and they also fit under a thermoplastic mask to create 360-degree custom support and immobilization.
Klarity is a supplier of integrated solutions, therefore, in addition to baseplates and masks, a large number of different accessories are offered. These are various vacuum bags of different shapes and sizes, markers, indexing bars (for Elekta, Varian & United Imaging Couch Tops), head support and etc. There are also boluses in different versions: tissue-equivalent flexible gel bolus and Bolus Pellet (granules). These accessories complement the functionality of the basic immobilization equipment and allow radiation therapists to treat the patient with fewer errors.
Klarity offers Eye Shields to protect the patient’s lens during radiation therapy treatments. They are made of tungsten. The lens of the eye is a radiosensitive organ, so it needs protection. Klarity has a large set of Eye Shields of various sizes.
